With its capacity to reflect light, inhibit heat absorption, and shield against UV rays, this bin cover offers a safeguard for your recently harvested fruit. Extensive research conducted in the industry has demonstrated that subjecting fruit to temperatures exceeding 25°C gradually diminishes its shelf life. Scientifically controlled experiments have conclusively proven that Harvestwear's LightBloc possesses the remarkable ability to maintain fruit temperature lower than the surrounding air temperature, even when the bin is exposed to direct sunlight.
A blackout coating laminated on the reverse side eliminates light transfer through the cloth. The woven, laminated construction means LightBloc can be used effectively in applications requiring water resistance. LightBloc bincovers are lightweight, easy to handle and incorporate simple elastic straps in each corner to secure to the bin.
