Farmlands Exchange, Returns and Refunds Policy

This policy governs Exchanges, Returns and Refunds for goods sold by Farmlands at our Retail Stores and through online channels. This policy does not cover purchases made with Farmlands Nutrition Sales Agreement, Farmlands Crop Sale and Purchase Agreements and/or purchases made using the Farmlands Card at third party vendors, such as Farmlands’ Card Partners. 

 

Cancelling an Order 

Where you have placed an order instore or online and the payment has been processed, the order cannot be changed, however you can cancel your order. If you wish to cancel an online order, call us on 0800 200 600 with your order number as soon as you can. Orders raised instore can be cancelled by contacting your local store. 

·       If you cancel your order before we arrange delivery, we can provide you a full refund. 

·       If your order has already been delivered (or in transit), we are unable to cancel your order. Instead, please follow the returns process after your order arrives. Please note that any delivery charges will not be refunded in this situation, and you may incur a Restocking Fee. 

 

Change of Mind 

If you are not 100% satisfied with your Farmlands purchase, you can return the item(s) to us for an exchange or refund within 30 days provided the Terms and Conditions of this policy and where applicable the Farmlands Online Shopping Terms and Conditions are met. 

 

Proof of Purchase 

Farmlands requires proof of purchase for the exchange, return and refund of goods. Acceptable forms of proof of purchase include Receipt or Invoice (including digital versions) , Packing Slip and Farmlands Statement. 

Faulty Goods and Warranty Claims 

Farmlands is committed to meeting the requirements of the law. Nothing contained within this Policy will reduce your rights in seeking remedy where goods are found to be faulty or subject to a Warranty Claim. Any goods that are subject to a warranty claim will be returned to Farmlands’ Supplier for review and assessment. No refund will be issued until such time as a claim has been accepted by the supplier. Where a Supplier rejects a warranty claim, Farmlands will not be liable for refunding the value of the goods. 

 

Goods that will not be accepted as Returns 

Unless faulty and subject to a Warranty Claim, Farmlands does not accept returns of the following goods: Seed (including where this is unopened); agrichemicals (including where this is unopened); nutrition products (Feed, Supplements, etc.); temperature sensitive goods (i.e. Vaccines); underwear; food items; consumables (i.e. creams, lotions); goods no longer in new or saleable condition; goods subject to normal wear and tear; goods purchased more than 30 days prior; damaged goods (warranty requests); special orders; or expired products. Please be aware that any postage or freight costs incurred with the purchase of goods are not refundable. A restocking fee may be charged by Farmlands at their discretion. 

 

Like for like Refunds 

Where possible, Farmlands will make a refund to the same method of payment that was used to make the original purchase. 

Locations 

Farmlands will accept returned goods at any of our Farmlands Stores, and this includes online purchases.

  •  Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (sales for non-business purposes / consumer use) 
  •  Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 (sales for business purposes / in trade)
