Dunstan Extruded Barley provides horse owners with a very safe way to feed this versatile grain. A calorie dense supplement contributing energy to the ration for both performance and conditioning.
Barley that has not undergone a form of heat processing has limited digestibility for the horse and therefore increases the risk of digestive upsets associated inadequate pre-cecal starch digestion.
With no added vitamins or minerals Dunstan Extruded Barley can be added to any diet without concern of overfortification of the ration.
Added vegetable oil boosts calorie density and enhances skin and coat quality.
