Iodine Tincture Spray has antiseptic and disinfectant properties making the formulation ideal for use on calf navels, open wounds, abscesses, fungal infections and dehorning wounds.

Description
- Iodine Tincture Spray contains Potassium Iodide in its elemental form and a high percentage of Ethanol (>60), dissolved in a surfactant (Idofors), bound to organic polymers (PVP Iodine) all as a water soluble complex.
- The combination provides longer residual germicidal action than other forms of Iodine.
- The form of Iodine used is different to Stock Iodine often used as a spray. This form of Iodine is formulated for internal use to be metabolized by the animal when ingested. Stock Iodine is Potassium Iodide (KI) it has NO disinfection properties.
- When comparing the two for external use on animals, put very simply, Iodine Tincture will work stronger and longer under all conditions and even more so under challenging, such as when a calf is exposed to dirt, mud, high moisture levels, and bacteria/fungal build up.
