Cydectin Oral contains moxidectin, the most potent member of the macrocyclic lactone (ML) family of drenches. NZ trial work found lambs grew 60% fasterwhen treated with Cydectin Oral compared to a short acting drench. This longer period of activity means:
- Less energy is spent dealing with incoming parasites, so this can be used for growth.
- Less worm build up on pasture, which reduces the degree of parasite challenge for all classes of sheep.
